Chinese Translator at African Labour Solutions (ALS)
Our client, a medical garment manufacturing company, wishes to recruit a Chinese Translator at African Labour Solutions (ALS) to liaise and communicate between the Chinese managers on day-to-day activities/duties and the local team to enhance work productivity and efficiency and translate directives between the managers and the regional team.
Location: Ruiru
Duties & Responsibilities
โข Translation from English to Chinese and from Chinese to English.
โข Be the assistant to the departmental manager and therefore work closely with the manager.
โข Assist the departmental manager in other roles like working closely with the team leaders in allocating duties and responsibilities.
โข Representing the manager in the departmental meetings.
โข Recording of the minutes during the departmental meetings.
โข Any other duty as may be requested by the departmental manager within the scope of the translatorโs responsibilities.
โข The translators with fluent Chinese will have their gross negotiated above the range indicated.
Requirement & Qualifications
โข Relevant bachelorโs degree.
โข Must have Level Chinese language certification (HSK – Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi)
โข Must have 3 years of proven experience working as a Chinese Translator in a busy environment.
โข Must have good Knowledge of safety standards.
โข Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
โข Must have good time management skills.
โข Must be flexible and attentive to details.
