The Role: Training Assistant

We’re seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Training Assistant to support the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs across the business. This role will support the Training Specialist in ensuring that training content and implementation align with the company’s strategic and operational needs—especially for our field teams who serve thousands of small business customers daily.

You’ll help organize and deliver engaging learning sessions, assess performance, and ensure that every employee is equipped to succeed in their role.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in maintaining and updating existing training programs and materials.
  • Support in identifying training gaps and developing relevant content.
  • Facilitate and support delivery of training sessions and workshops.
  • Evaluate trainee performance and recommend follow-up actions.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) checks to assess adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and in developing remedial/refresher training based on findings.
  • Support the creation and updating of customer business training videos and learning materials.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather insights that inform staff and customer training.
  • Ensure training effectiveness through post-training assessments and feedback collection.
  • Maintain accurate training records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in training and development, preferably within a financial or operational environment.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate teams.
  • Proficiency in digital learning tools and Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Field experience in retail or working with high-performing teams is an added advantage.

The Role: Senior Fraud Officer

We’re looking for a seasoned and strategic Senior Fraud Officer to lead the fraud function at 4G Capital. In this role, you will define and execute our fraud risk management framework, provide expert oversight on investigations, and guide the organization in mitigating losses and safeguarding customer trust.

You’ll also mentor a growing fraud team, work cross-functionally with Technology, Credit, Operations, HR, and Governance, and represent 4G Capital in engagements with external stakeholders such as regulators and law enforcement.

What You’ll Do

  • • Strategic Oversight: Develop, implement, and continuously refine the fraud risk management framework, policies, and controls.
  • • Leadership: Lead and mentor the Fraud Officer, fostering a culture of vigilance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • • Investigation: Oversee and personally handle complex, high-value, or sensitive fraud investigations.
  • • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed fraud-related reports, trends, and recommendations to senior management and the Board.
  • • Collaboration: Partner with Credit, Collections, Technology, GRC, and HR teams to ensure a unified, data-driven approach to fraud prevention and mitigation.
  • • External Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for external parties such as law enforcement agencies, regulators, and industry associations.

What We’re Looking For

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Forensic Accounting, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • • 5+ years of experience in fraud risk management, investigations, or audit within the financial services or fintech sector.
  • • Proven experience in designing and implementing fraud prevention frameworks and controls.
  • • Strong analytical and investigative skills with an eye for patterns and anomalies.
  • • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • • Professional certifications such as CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CPA, CISA, or similar will be a strong advantage.

The Role: ICT Officer

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ICT Officer to join our Nairobi-based team. This role is key in maintaining and improving our ICT infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting our business systems with reliability, efficiency, and care.

As an ICT Officer, you’ll provide technical support across the business, manage internal networks, ensure device compliance, and champion system security—all while helping us scale our technology to match our growth.

What You’ll Do

  • • Troubleshoot and manage internal networks and IT infrastructure.
  • • Provide onsite and remote technical support for systems and end users.
  • • Ensure timely resolution of ICT issues in line with company SLAs.
  • • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and applications.
  • • Manage IT assets and maintain an accurate IT inventory.
  • • Support device configuration, compliance, and deployment via MDM.
  • • Oversee endpoint security using antivirus, firewall, and MDM solutions.
  • • Facilitate user onboarding/offboarding and access control.
  • • Contribute to ICT process improvements through shared knowledge.
  • • Support data protection, compliance, and call center operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • • Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a related field.
  • • At least 3 years of experience in a similar ICT role within a fast-paced organization.
  • • Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
  • • Proficiency in ICT systems and applications; familiarity with Freshservice is a plus.
  • • Certification such as CCNA will be an added advantage.
  • • A proactive, customer-focused mindset and the ability to work independently.
