Front Office Receptionist
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and in person.
- Handle bookings, confirmations, and updates using the resortโs reservation system.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized reception area.
- Provide resort information, upsell experiences, and promote in-house amenities.
- Manage petty cash, basic accounting, and POS transactions as needed.
- Support administrative tasks related to daily operations and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality, customer service, or a front desk role (resort/hotel experience preferred).
- Excellent communication in English and Swahili (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with booking systems or PMS software.
- Friendly, polished demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- A team player who takes initiative and pays attention to detail.
